Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the most advanced diagnostic imaging study available today. MRI images are formed by the combination of a strong magnetic field and radio waves interacting with hydrogen protons in the body. Using a computer, information is collected and made into three dimensional images of the body.

MRI does not use radiation, nor does it have any known harmful effects.
